Hey everyone, i'm just wandering does anyone know anything about this, if so, is it good enough to use? I've read a bit, it supports transparency and stuff...

last time I used it (probably a year) it was buggy, and often died. I was looking for somethign like blackbox at the time, and I found fluxbox, and haven't moved on since. at the time, fluxbox had a much better code base, and the cool tab things that you either can't live without or hate...

i've tried it a little.

been using flux forever and just recently switched back to blackbox. simple is nice. wa* seems to be an overloaded bl/op/flux like wm

I've used it a couple of times, and I think it has some, erm, very interesting features. Like the extremely large desktop, for starters. I don't know about the rest of you, but I find it easier to have multiple desktops and spread my applications around rather than have large desktops. I know that waimea has multiple desktops, but I just don't get on with the super-sized desktop... 1600x1200 is big enough as it is! Other than that, it felt a bit like any other... I won't be using it in place of my SawFish just yet, though.

I have used it quite frequently, and it is great ( still second to openbox in my book tho)

The 'Large Desktop' is pretty cool. I have mine set so it takes a second to switch desktops when you move your mouse to the side. It is almost like resistance to switching desktops. You can also assign desktops to keys , or set your mouse to wheel through them (like flux). You can set it up any way you want, really.
Tons of other things are just as configurable.
