w3m delays with cookies

When I visit some sites with w3m that use lots of cookies, it takes a long time for the page to show up because it pauses at each cookie transaction and displays some message about it at the bottom. How do I turn off all those cookie messages? It's delays even longer when w3m receives a bad cookie or unauthorized one.
