Vuze: Issue with constant cycle of restarting.

Problem:
After installing (from the Ubutu default repository) and starting Vuze (Bit Torrent client) the program goes into an unending cycle of this:

Where vuze claims to have downloaded an important update and needs to be restarted in order to apply it. That's cool, so I restart... and the same thing happens all over again... and again, and again, and again........

Insanity is defined as repeating the same task over and over and expecting a different result... So please help pull me out of my insanity and resolve this issue...

Has anyone else experienced this or know of a solution for it?
I've searched the net, but have had difficulty finding resolution to the problem.

Anyone got any ideas?

Resolved:
I had tried to install another version from vuze.com and it gave me an error dealing with permissions in one of the /usr... So I went back to the original install that comes in the repository... and did a

Code:

sudo chown -R /usr

switching the owner of /usr and all of it's contents from root to my user account, now this might not have been the smartest/safest things to do... but uh... it worked, and I no longer get this error.
