Question vsftpd virtual user help

Installed RedHat 8.0 - Happy to get away from proftpd -- but a bit of a learning curve to vsftpd...

Anyway, I have vsftpd up & running happily except 1 thing: My virtual users (which are set up per the example files) needed to access virtual website storage areas can upload, download, chmod, whatever -- except delete/overwrite files.

I have checked & rechecked permissions, real users, virtual users & logins, and many other things -- and for now I've created a different real user that can access that site correctly... but it's a bit of a hack.

Is there a dedicated mailinglist / blog / web archive / whatever for vsftpd? If not, should I make one? ;-)

Thanks,
Roger "Merch" Merchberger
