I have just done a clean install of RedHat 9.0 and am beginning to use vsftpd instead of wu-ftp. I am having difficulty in finding documentation about this product. I can not get the vsftpd.conf file to be recognized and wonder if there is some trick. I found the file in '/etc/vsftpd/vsftpd.conf' however the file indicates it should be in '/etc', which makes sence based on experience with other Unix systems. I restart the process but my changes don't seem to be included.
Does anybody know where there is good documentation on vsftpd?
Regards,
John
