vsftp welcome message

Hi, I just installed vsftp, and I would like to change the message it displays from "Have fun!" to some instructions about logging on.

I need to do this because I disabled anonymous login so that al l of my users can have different priveleges but I'm still keeping a guest account up tht can only see and download files. I want to have a welcome message that tells people how to login as 'guest' but I can't figure out how.

Any help would be great!

Thanks a lot,

~Andrew

PS: I know I could use virtual hosting to solve this problem, but it is a messy solution, and I'd rather people not have to remember different IP's etc.

yea, i already tried the 'motd' file in /etc , but it didn't pan out.

i tried a 'grep' startingin /etc for what the message currently is, and it returned nothing.

thanks,
andrew
