VPN-PPTPD conflicting with my WIFI Connection

I successfully installed PPTPD and provide connection for home users to access the internal network. What I noticed is that the VPN connection will bypass the exisiting internet connection.

To illustrate, I do have a Wifi at home and when I connect to the VPN, I can ping the internal network but I could no longer ping www.yahoo.com. When I typed in the ipconfig, I realized that I have two gateways which might be the cause of the conflict. I have a gateway on my wireless (192.168.10.1) and gateway on my VPN (192.168.0.200). I get the same address on my VPN IP and its VPN gateway which is 192.168.0.200.

Question, can I disable the gateway on the VPN and still gain access to the internal network? How am I going to configure the server for me to be able to use VPN and my ISP at the same time.

I haven't tried securing the VPN in the Firewall. So if someone knows how to do it, please help me. I will be using Ubuntu and Firestarter as my firewall. Should I just allow ports 1723 and 47?
