VPN Issue on Linux


Hi ,
Can any one help me ,as i hav installed shorewall firewall ontwo seperate offices,now i wanted to configure VPN between two shorewall .i also wanted to knwo wht i the debug connand

Ok...check out the shorewall-tunnels (man shorewall-tunnels) command. Lots of Google information on how to set it up. Since you don't say anything about your environment, or what version/distro of Linux, it's hard to be more specific.

And please spell/write clearly...it makes it easier for everyone to understand you.

Hi sorry for my comman above ,any way
i have using Centos 5 with details below wher i have configured the shorewll firewall

System hostname shorewall
Operating system CentOS Linux 5.3
Webmin version 1.470
Time on system Tue May 12 22:28:38 2009
Kernel and CPU Linux 2.6.18-128.1.6.el5 on i686
CPU load averages 0.16 (1 min) 0.03 (5 mins) 0.01 (15 mins)
Real memory 438.87 MB total, 87.48 MB used

on seprate location .
i have configured the setting as per the shorewall documantation .if any one efer the document for ahorewll ipsec VPN ,it states that after configuring please configure freswan ,can any one help me out the kernal will support free swan .

What do you need help with??? I suggested you look up the shorwall-tunnels command, and the Freeswan page has very clear installation notes on it. You can also probably install it via YUM (freeswan and freeswan-utils).....
