VPN connected, but can't browse samba shares

Hi all,
I would be really greatful if anyone could help me. I've searched forum, but I could not find the answer.

The problem:
I have a LAN in office and server on openSUse 10.1+samba as domain controller. In LAN everything works fine.
From home I am connecting thanks to QuickVPN (Windows VPN client) to VPN server on router. Now I can browse router's, VOIP gateway's, access point, administrative web pages and print on LAN printers.
I CAN ping samba server. I CAN net use samba shares, but when I am trying to browse them I got message: "You might not have permission to use this
network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you
have access permissions.
The specified network name is no longer available."
I have tried to change MTU on router and on client and still nothing.
I have changed hosts allow to all i smb.config(but did not restarted samba after this - maybe this will help)
Please help - I am fighting this problem for weeks!

If you can do everything but use the SAMBA share, then the problem should be your smb.conf file. Are you allowing only certain users or IP addresses? Try SSH'ing locally through the QuickVPN. Does that work? can you ping the computer that SAMBA is on?

Thanks for reply.
1. In smb.conf - i wrote hosts allow = all. T exclude possibility of blocking my ip.
2. I can ping computer with samba. I can net use shares on it, (using IP address), but I can;t browse them.
What does SSHing locally means?

All right everything works fine evene with firewall.

I have added line in smb.conf:
interface = eth0
It resolved the problem.
