VNC and TWN

Whenever I connect to my server that has vncserver running on it I get the TWN desktop and not my KDE desktop that I want to see. I also am connecting as root. What am I doing wrong?

Edit last two lines of the $HOME/.vnc/xstartup file as follows:

#twm &
