VMWare Tools Installation problem on Gentoo: Runlevels
 

I've run into a problem installing Gentoo in VMWare; I can get it to run, compile etc. all at decent speed, but I run inot the following problem:

To be able to properly run, especially X, in VMWare, I need to install the VMWare Tools package in Gentoo. I have successfully mounted the virtual cdrom and untar'ed the tools package, but installing the tools it asks me the following:

What is the directory where rc0.d .. rc6.d are located?

Gentoo doesn't use these anymore -- Has anyone installed Gentoo in VMware successfully while this problem exists, and -how- did you do this? Thanks.
