VMware Player

Hi,
I have just downloaded VMware Player, I want to be able to run Windows XP (I have a genuine copy) from inside SUSE 10.1 so I can play games.
I don't have a clue were to start, I have installed the RPM, but thats all.

Any help would be great

VMPlayer is really just a player for pre-created virtual machines. If you want to create and run your own virtual machines you will need the VMware workstation. Why not just dual boot? It would be much easier.

I currently have a hardware type dual boot thing going on, e.g. plug on harddrive in for Linux one for Windoes.
I tryed adding Windows to the grub

chainloader (hd0,1)+1
But didnt work, I might try wineX

VMWare Player How-TO

Try this site out if you want to create your own images to run inside VMWare Player.

This particular article describes how to create a Linux image, but hey, at least it is a start...
