vmware,opensuse 10,winxp
 

Hi folks i was wandering i am at the momment dual booting winxp and suse.I have installed vmware on suse and installed xp on vmware.I was thinking of stopping my dual boot so suse takes up my hard drive and just running windows xp on vmware.Is there any major downsides to doing this??

Not that I know of. I have one workstation at home that is doing almost exactly that, except the VM machine is Windows 2K. It's running on an older workstation, so the vm machine isn't very fast, but it's only to play a card game that my wife won't let go of.

That computer is 500mhz with 512mb ram. The vm machine is about 3.5GB, and is configured for 128mb ram. I created the vm machine on another computer, and it's running under vm player.
