VMware on Slackware (Installing Windows 98 on it)
I just got a copy of VMware, and am trying to install Windows 98 on it to be able to run a couple Windows programs wine doesn't take well to. Anyways, I get the Windows 98 CD in, and, of course, I have to partition the virtual drive (otherwise, SETUP complains). I use the fdisk and it goes fine, and says I must restart. I do that via the "restart" command (and I tried VMware's hard restart), and it just won't boot back. It gives the error "Missing Operating System", as if it's now not reading the CD. I put in a random floppy disk (happened to be an old GRUB bootdisk), and it seemed to try to boot to that. So, how do I make it boot to the CD instead, or, what would the best way to make a working bootdisk for Windows 98?
Thanks.
