Question VMWare / mnt/win_x partition

He team, i have succesfully installed VMWare with a running winxp (lucky me!).

When i am logged in as root, i can setup a viritual drive pointing to hda1. When logged on as user account, i get access denied..

I know what, now i need to know how..

how can i make /mnt/*.* r/w accessable for user
(reminder: vmware scans for partitions, my guess is that it scans /dev/*.* , also, changing permissions on this drive does not seem to be wise.. it might F***ck up the winxp boot)

what do i need to do, i tried rooting the user but that did not work..

a *newbie*
