vmware installation error


hi i know many people have had this same problem before but i have tried every thing its not just working for me
i installed vmware on my new kernel with is 2.6.24 on a debian lenny box and i did the vmware any to any but this is there error i get whe i run ./runme.pl

Unable to build the vmmon module.

in my /usr/bin folder

any help on what im doing wrong i can see that the g++ for 4.1 is not installed but its not in aptitude

sorry its sorted found the g++ and installed it
