VMWARE config problem
I am getting this error when trying to configure vmware...
What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include] The directory of kernel headers (version 2.6.9) does not match your running kernel (version 2.6.9-x1). Even if the module were to compile successfully, it would not load into the running kernel. I have the source in /usr/src/linux/ I am running Xandros 3 delux Does anyone know how to get around this problem? Thats the only source i can get my hands on, I got it from Xandros Network. If its not the same can someone tell me where to get the right one? Thanks in advance! |
Check with vmware's documentation or this site. There are files you can edit since VMWare currently only tests against the 2.4.x kernel series..
