VMware and kernel headers

I was wondering if anyone else is having the problem with VMware and the kernel header files. I get the error about the C header files being for a multiprocessor and i need uniprocessor files.

I downloaded a kernel-headers-2.4.18-14.rpm and installed the package but cannot find where the header files are to try and tell VMware where to look.

I am running redhat 8.0 stock.

I had the 'header files missing' problem with my SuSE distribution, but I installed the header files and sources from SuSE installation media and it worked. Your kernel and downloaded header files are probably incompatible.

It may also be an issue with Vmware not supporting mulitprocessor configurations..
