VMware 3.2 Installation- Kernel problem

I am trying to install VMware, but I got this error, can some one help me? I am new to Linux, I have no idea what to do when comes to Kernel stuff...

:Pengy:
The directory of kernel headers (version 2.4.20) does not match your running
kernel (version 2.4.20-8). Even if the module were to compile successfully, it
would not load into the running kernel.

What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running
kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include]
:Pengy:

I think I have to update my Kernel to 2.4.20, but how? is that mean I have to reinstall everything?

Just means that your kernel-headers are not installed from the CD.
If you have mandrake, open Control Center > Software Installer, and look for "kernel headers". For other OS the procedure should be similar. You should find something. Install them and then try installing vmware again.
You do not have to install another kernel.
Good look.

Always try the easy way first!

there is already kernel header in /usr/include

but version of header is not the same as the kernel
