vmplayer win2k SVGA driver vmware tools

Hi there
I have the following problem:

I have successfully installed and run vmplayer.
Then I did install win2k over the current virtual machine.
It boots and runs tight.
However, i can only run it on the least screen resolution (800x600) with 16 colors.
It woudn't take any other display driver.
From googling I got I have to use the vmware-tools.
These however are not downloadable (at least not anymore).
Thanks for any advice...

PS:

Guest-OS: Win2k

In case you didnt get your answer, but if you search vmware.com you'll find Windows.iso. Simply use that iso in your VMX file and boot your VMplayer and then install the program. It'll install mouse and display drivers which make windows work very well as a guest OS.

Hope this helps. I successfully got Windows 98 in VMplayer working perfectly.

enjoy!
