VLC segfault with qt43

Hi,

I am trying to use vlc on my mythtv dev box. I have qt43 installed for MythTV and qt3-3 installed.

I installed vlc from rpmforge.

I get this when selecting a file in the gui:
ASSERT failure in QList<T>:perator[]: "index out of range", file /usr/lib64/qt4/include/QtCore/qlist.h line 378

How can i fix this?

Thanks,
Mitchell

Dont know if this will help but I built vlc today on my gentoo machine (using emerge which builds package from source not rpm).

It failed until I rebuilt qt4 with the png flag.. (something to do with libpng support).

after rebuilding qt4, vlc installed without a problem.
