vlc doesn't display .wmv files I'm using linux linpus light on an Acer Aspire one

When I open a .wmv file in vlc it just shows the progress bar without video.

I'm running an Acer aspire one with linux linpus light. I've enabled the advanced features and have used yum to install vlc and samba.

.wmv may require proprietary codecs. You seem to be missing them. Install them
