VLC crashes with a DVD
VLC has been working fine and has played this DVD before. The DVD is in very good condition but is now causing a problem.
VLC will show the fist few menus/clips but as it's about to get to the main menu it stops. The error is: main error: ES_OUT_SET_(GROUP_)PCR is called too late (pts_delay increased to 3345 ms) main warning: early picture skipped main warning: received buffer in the future Any ideas? Thanks. [EDIT] Running VLC from the command line says: libdvdnav: DVD disk reports itself with Region mask 0x00e50000. Regions: 2 4 5 Warning: call to srand(872178) [0x939a8cc] xcb_xv generic error: no available XVideo adaptor [0x920399c] main input error: ES_OUT_SET_(GROUP_)PCR is called too late (pts_delay increased to 300 ms) [0x920399c] main input error: ES_OUT_SET_(GROUP_)PCR is called too late (pts_delay increased to 2331 ms) [0x920399c] main input error: ES_OUT_SET_(GROUP_)PCR is called too late (pts_delay increased to 3399 ms) libdvdnav:DVDOpenFilePath:findDVDFile /VIDEO_TS/VTS_18_0.IFO failed libdvdnav:DVDOpenFilePath:findDVDFile /VIDEO_TS/VTS_18_0.BUP failed libdvdread: Can't open file VTS_18_0.IFO. libdvdnav: ifoOpenVTSI failed [/EDIT] |
The DVD works in another Linux computer running VLC... I will narrow down the issue with my main computer. Nothing a re-install/new DVD drive won't fix I hope.
