vlc - bad sound quality
I'm using vlc, but i've realized, after using mplayer that my sound is horrible with vlc. Since i view .ogm's that have subtitles incorporated that mplayer can't handle (at least that i know of) i want to continue using vlc. I'm using alsa output, but i've tried oss, arts, etc... and they all sound the same, so i think it must be a codec problem or something like that. Anyone have any advice? Thanks.

Is the quality issue specific to these .ogms, or to all files?
