VLC Acting Sluggish
I gave up on trying to install MPlayer for my DVDs. I dont need all the extras anyways, and I was having a bunch of problems with the rpm install (ie, install package x says that package y is needed. INtslla package y says package x is needed) so I went with VLC. I got things installed and working, but video playback is a little slow, and my DVD drive shows that it is constantly reading from the disk. Where can I adjust the red hat cache settings so that some of the disk goes into memory before playback?
Thanks in advance, LBB |
