virtual pets on linux?

hey all,
I'm got my g/f to switch her machine to linux but she wants me to find her a program replacment. On windowsXP she had Dogz a virtual pet program, it let u keep a virtual dog to play with and feed, ect. Basicly a tamigotchi type program, but she'd like to have somthing similar for her Linux desktop. I've looked to no avail and was hoping somone here had ran across somthing.
The requirments for the software are
-FREE
-multiple/adjustable skins
-interaction with the cursor eg. petting,
-maintenance tasks, eg feeding sleeping
-the ability to turn off the program when she wants

thats basicly it thanks alot, Dink
