I get an error unable to handle kernal paging request at virtual address 00050004. Then it locks up. I am able to boot fine from the installation cd and installation option come up. i have tried no probing and text model along with every other option listed on the installation menu. Same error every time and same location. I have a KT 400 ultra black edition with a AMD Athlon XP 2500+, corsair XMS DDR400 PC 3200 512MB and a PNY GeForce FX 5200 128MB all of whicn are supposed to be linux compatible. Ihave updated my bios to the lastest version and cleared CMOS. I have tried red hat 8.0 disk I have and 7.2 disk with no luck. I have used both disk before and they worked fine. I do have win98SE installed but this does not seem to be the problem cause it never gets far enough to access the disk drive and I created a linux partion on the disk.
