I am configuring vituual host and got some errors.

i edited the file as below
VirtualHost 192.168.2.103:80>
ServerAdmin webmaster@server1.example.com
DocumentRoot /var/www/html/server1.example.com
ServerName server1.example.com
ErrorLog logs/server1.example.com-error_log
CustomLog logs/server1.example.com-access_log common
</VirtualHost>

I created the /var/www/html/server1.example.com directory

mkdir /var/www/html/server1.example.com

I edited the vi /etc/hosts
with 192,.168.0.2 server1.exmaple.com

i launch
#httpd -S AND GET THE ERORR
httpd: Syntax error on line 998 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf: </VirtualHost> without matching <VirtualHost> section

what could be the prob?
Am using centos 5
#uname -r
2.6.18-194.el5

Well you have the answer right on this page.
Read the error message again and read what you have posted.

Fix the leading <VirtualHost> tag and you should be good.
