Virtual Box not installing with new Fedora kernel
Hi all,
I updated the Fedora 16 kernel on my computer to 3.1.5-6, and the Virtual Box modules won't work anymore, and when I try to install VirtualBox-OSE, it tells me I need the older kernel. So I try to install the kmod version that matches my kernel version, but that has a dependency that needs the older kernel! What is going on, is it simply not possible? Thanks! |
Stick with your older kernel until the modules are updated for the new kernel.... Happens all the time.

I found a solution! You can compile you own new modules or something using dkms, just install the dkms package.
