Hi, I did my second Virtual Box install, on my laptop this time. All went well, except when I tried downloading Microsoft Office, accidentally somehow I got five windows opened and a warning. But then the cursor/arrow did not respond in windows. Also I could not maximize the size.

XP does run there. In Mint 6.

My first download of VB here failed, so I downloaded an older version. for Ubuntu Intrepid. Or Jaunty. It then worked.

I tried 20 times to switch, by left click in the windows space and by right CTRL. It would bring up the window, respond, but the mouse cursor does not move in Windows. Even after restart, since I tried the install.

I need Office going, I would appreciate advice.

So wait - which version of VB have you installed exactly & just to confirm this is on Mint6 (32bit?)

Also if you just need office working have you taken a look @ Codeweavers?

Mint 6 32 bit.virtual box from www.virtualbox.org downloads, I would say PUEL. For Ubuntu.

I could not find this in the manual.
