(Virtual-Box) CentOS guest on Win7 host has no sound

So my Virtual-Box on a ASUS Win-7 64-bit has sound issue.

Linux guests host VMs do not make sound through the speaker. I went through all the difference audio options but still not working. Anyone have idea as to how to enable sound?

How do you get the correct driver or whatever?

Some logs are attached. Please take a look.

Usually the easy way is to install guest additions.

This may do the trick too. http://askubuntu.com/questions/14339...-on-virtualbox

I have a funny news.
I applied all windows update on the computer and sound seems to come out!
Not sure why win7 is more difficult than win8.
Thanks!

Oh, maybe you are right. Maybe there was an update that provided virtual support drivers. Stuff changes.

Thanks for the update and solution.
