Angry vim dependency problem error loading

I am using fc3. I removed perl 5.8.5 and installed its tar again. But when i opened vi it says that

vim: error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
can any suggest any solution for that. I cannt use vi for since two week time.

hi there,

did you run
after the new perl installation?
if it is does not work, maybe it is necessary to reinstall vim.
