vim always says swap file already exists for a particular file
hello. i have a file called commands to which i'm always adding. lately, every time i use vim to open commands, i get the warning message saying the swap file already exists (as if i had the file open on another terminal). i simply type "e" for "Edit Anyway" and carry on as before.
emacs doesn't give me this message, nor does vi, so i want to blame vim. any thoughts? |
