viewing multiple windows with " screen " terminal emulator

Hi All ,

I am a new user of screen , a window manager program for Linux .

It is a useful program , but one problem I am facing is that if I open multiple windows , I can only view one window at a time . There is a split
option in screen coomand (Ctrl-a , S) which can be used to split the window screen . But I am not able to see the contents of the second screen window
on the second split window .

What I am trying to do is that , if I open two terminal windows using screen , then I want that both the windows should be visible at the same time. Please let me know how to that , If anybody had tried that successfully . I tried with the split option (Ctrl-a , S ) , but no luck.

Kindly provide some clue.

Thanks

Start screen. Create two sessions (CTRL+A, c). Then do CTRL+A, S (capital S, or Shift+S if you want). You will get a split view, now do CTRL+A, TAB - screen will switch to the newly splitted view - there you can select the other sessions (CTRL+A, N/P).
