Viewing mail offline in terminal
Ugh, Linux did it again. It beat me up! I wanted to do what Mozilla Thunderbird does with its windows in th terminal. Just download my emails, let me see them, and send emails. I thought Mutt was the answer. But now I am confused... Does Mutt only view messages while fetchmail, for example, retrieves messages and some other program sends messages? This seems a bit odd to me. Why would a mundane task need 500 different ways to do something?? Send mail, receive mail. If the protocol works use it! I have tried going through the Mutt "Newbie Guide"...but it seems that I have yet to attain the rank of Newbie! Please help me straighten this out. I really want to use the terminal more and was hoping to make email the next step.
