View temperature in Debian

Hello all!

I just need to know if there is a program that I could just simply apt-get so that I could see the temperature of my processor, and hard drives.

So does anyone know something like that?

Cheers,
shorto

P.S. I don't have a graphical interface, only the console.

You may want to install lm-sensors, sensord, hddtemp, sensors-applet and additionaly ksensors (KDE sensors applet) and gkrellm.

Additionally, once you've installed the above packages you can run
Code:
/usr/sbin/sensors-detect
an interactive utility (yes/no questions) to configure everything. Then you can check the file /etc/sensors.conf which is very well self-documented. A reboot may be needed to let the kernel load additional modules, if required.
