Video Editing software

What, in your opinion, is the best Video editing software out there for Linux, and why? This is only in regards to software with a GUI -- I guess i'm looking for something between iMovie, MovieMaker, and Final Cut Pro...

Any suggestions?

There are a couple of good freeware ones, including broadcast 2000. SuSE 8.2 Pro (and the cheaper Pro Update (which doesn't require a previous version of SuSE)) comes with a commercial one called MainActor which is supposed to be good. I can't really recommend any, I don't have any experience.
