video editing program

Hello.

I'm looking for a graphical video editing program that should be:

1) Simple to use.
2) Doesn't need a powerful pc.
3) Able to open files from dvd, from avi, xvid and mov without the need to convert them with other tools. An automated conversion with external tools is fine.
4) Able to create a movie consisting of a sequence of images with transition effects between them, with selectable time for each one ( e.g. the first must be shown for 15 s, the second for 10, the third for 5 and so on).
5) Able to add a sound track, multiple tracks interesting ( e.g. one for music and one for speak ).
6) Cut & paste of selected parts.
7) Export to xvid, dvd, mpg.

Thank you in advance.

hi,
I would suggest that you look at "dynbolic"........ it is a live cd distro with several nle(video editing packages)..it puts nothing on the hard drive..This may give you a better idea as to what you want to install on your system..
I use several in windows but have not really used Linux yet because it seems much harder for me to implement..
Just a suggestion,Goodluck,
