Video Converting / Editing Software Recommendations

All I really wanna do is convert my .ogv to something YouTube can use. Maybe some light editing of frames. As I write this I'm thinking maybe YouTube can do the conversion for me...

It seems .ogv files are fairly large as well. I'm a newb at this as you can tell. Thoughts? Suggestions? Recommendations?

So yeah. I uploaded the .ogv file to YouTube directly. Audio is fine. Video is a green screen. So I'm gonna need some support here please. Anybody try the LiVES software?

Does your ogv file play using VLC? I've uploaded many ogv files to youtube and they convert just fine.

Hi ramram29. I'm gonna try again tomorrow. I've been trying out too many multimedia combinations lately. I've just cleaned it all up and am keeping it simple from here on out. I'll try and stick with .ogv - I'm not using vlc
I think I'm making this more complicated than it has to be.
