video conferencing software linux


I am looking for a Video Conferencing system for our in house use. any suggestions will be welcomed

Teamviewer may work. Depending on what you need vlc may even work.

Hi,

if you are happy going nonfree/commercial, then you can even use skype or google hangouts. For a Free/free option you could also look into setting up a sip server an using the linphone client. Or for a cool bleeding edge alternative check out http://www.webrtc.org/

The VideoBridge by the Jitsi developers is also interesting
https://meet.jit.si/

Or just use Jitsi (this one can do conferencing) or some other SIP client in server-client mode (no server needed, direct connection between the computers).
