Video Conferencing - need help


Hi...

I am purchased a couple of logitech webcams for my local home network...one machine runs windows XP and other runs red hat 9. I would like to have video conferencing set up so that i could have a video chat on my local lan....how do i go about it ? i mean which softwares should i install and especially i need an application which can help me conserve bandwidth...kindly suggest...
