vfat inode limits?

If I have a huge number of small files in an SDCard formatted with vfat, can I run out if "inodes" before I run out of free space on the device?

I know I am mixing Windows and *nix terminologies, but I don't know what to call it in the Windows world (if I did i would just Google it). I know on ext3 (and probably 4) when you create a file system the filesystem contains a fixed number of inodes and thus limit the total number of possible files in the file system.

I assume the card is FAT32 since vfat encompasses all versions. The max number of files is 268,173,300 for 32 KiB clusters.
