Very strange recursive Vncviewer problem from SuSE9.3 (crashes pc)

Hi :)

Just installed SuSE 9.3 and tryed Vncviewer to connect to my Xvnc-server on my FreeBSD server. Tunneling through SSH just as I've done before from XP and other Linux-distros.

The strange thing though is that it gave me an empty 1024x768 window named "Root's X11 Desktop (Linux:0)". Then the pc totally locked down. The keyboard is no longer responsive so only a hardware reboot is left to get out.
Root is not running the Xvnc-server, and it also is on display :1, so the name of the windows appearing is totally wrong.

After a few tryes I tryed with the Java VncViewer, and it appears to be a bit slower (or something) cause it did let me see what actually happened....and what happens is that it opens this first window, and then another one inside it, and then yet another one, and it keeps spawning new VNC sessions rapidly so no wonder it crashes pretty soon :D

Dont have a clue what could be wrong though. Seems to get the same result if I try to connect to a local server on the same machine.
Tryed to connect to display instead of port towards the server (vncviewer localhost:1 instead of vncviewer localhost::5900) but that gave me connection refused.

Running everything tunneled through SSH of course as (SSH -L 5900:localhost:5901 user@192.168.0.2).

Very thankful if anyone could help :)
