Very basic DTP / screenshot & scrapbooking

I currently use Apple Pages to quickly screenshot things and organize these screenshots on a page. It has a very nice quick crop and instant alpha feature but other than this it's very very basic.

Scribus doesn't work with copy and pasting screenshots.
Librewriter is a Word Processor and overall the experience is really clunky and slow.

Any recommendations to replace Apple Pages?

https://alternativeto.net suggests among others a paid online service https://pagination.com, a browser extension ConstEdit, and a bunch of word processors (AbiWord, Calligra Words, etc).

And this is what it offers for Scribus, which I feel is a better fit.
