Vanguard - What you can do to help!

I am sick and tired of having to emulate my games. I have to play under (sometimes) sub-par conditions, lose out on a lot of features, and have a generally hard time playing games that my friends can play, because I choose a better, more complete, and feature full OS. For along time I have said that IF the linux community would stand up and demand a linux client, and show their numbers, that some company would make a decent game (much like unreal, the best FPS ever) that came stock with a linux client. I am sure that most gamers here, have heard of the upcoming Vanguard: Saga of Heros. Now, with this in mind, I am also sure, a lot of linux-desktop users are wishing they would come out with a linux client. I know that I, as well as most of my MMO playing friends, are.

So, I was thinking that if we just surround them with the need for a linux client, they would have no choice but to make one. I purpose that if you want a Vanguard Linux Client, then we, collectively, head over to their forums, and pledge that if they make a linux client,we will pre-order the game, and make it worth their effort. Once they see the client base they will be missing out on, from all of the linux-desktop users, I am certain they will at least consider, and maybe even release a linux client.

Im not sure if this is just a dream, or if this could really happen. So before I go pushing for this, I would love to know, what kind of support would linuxquestions.org members be willing to give to such a cause? Would it be worth your time to go and make a post about it? I know that I am willing to make a post just to see if they would be willing to consider the release of a linux client. So what say you, the best linux community gathering, to this proposal?

Is this game written using OpenGL or does it use DirectX. If it is written using the latter, then they might just do it. Game companies are more interested in Linux servers being setup as game servers. This adds value to their product for windows users. If they don't, well, it's just a game.
