Utility to monitor what's accessing the hard drive? Laptop_mode keeps cycling.

I'm trying to implement laptop_mode (to put disk to sleep when not in use), but something keeps waking it up. 'TOP' really doesn't do the trick.

Ideas?

THanks

UPDATE: This is apparently a known problem. Has to do with disk idling not implemented correctly.
