Hi,

I updated to Xubuntu 14.04 a good while back now but since then I have a problem with Gigolo (i.e. accessing shared drives on Windows computers) which I am unable to resolve.
BTW - I am pretty new to Linux so not an expert

I have several laptops using the older version of Xubuntu which work perfectly ok but the one I have upgraded it links to the shares no problem but after a few minutes it seems to lose the link and if I try to access it the computer locks for a while then gives an error saying the share is not available.
If I go into Gigolo and disconnect (it takes a while but eventually disconnects) then re connect, it is ok again for a while

Any ideas what I can try as I can't find anything of help via Google etc.?
I don't want to upgrade my other computers until this is resolved.
