Using Win4Lin help!

Hi there,
I am really wanting to run Linux as my primary OS on my laptop. Probably kubuntu is what I was looking at. I have a dell Inspiron 5150, but whenever I run linux, I am never able to get my wireless card working. I thought of this idea and wanted to see if this would work. If I download win4lin and install it on my laptop, would I be able to use the windows environment to connect to a wireless network, and then just use linux once connected and still have all of linux's applications be able to access the internet? Thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it.

First try and hunt for a native Linux driver for your card (sounds to me it's about the driver, as usually) and if that fails, it's still easier to use ndiswrapper to use a Windows driver for your wireless card if the problem is because of the driver (most probably is). I have no idea if your suggestion about Win4Lin works, theoretically I see no real reason why it wouldn't, but then again, if it means the Windows environment is emulated and it doesn't use the native Windows drivers, it might not work. I really have no idea. But whether it works or not, it's (in my opinion, of course) easier to use ndiswrapper if else fails.
