Using tinyproxy on ARM (embedded) devices.
I recently procured a Yoggie Open Firewall SOHO, which is an arm based embedded device.
The Yoggie folks provide a cross compiling environment for the Yoggie so you can use any i386 linux to compile software for it.
PHP compiled fine and I had no trouble installing it in the lighthttpd implementation that comes out of the box. lighthttpd starts and I can run php pages.
Tinyproxy, however, compiles and when I install it on the device and start it, it just echos out the configuration file line by line to the shell, then dies without errors. Anyone ever see this and know what might be going on?
It works on the host system, as a 386 binary, I'm cross compiling from, but the arm binary isn't behaving. I've tried it both stripped down to minimal functionality or with everything enabled, with same result.
Very weird...
