Hi all Happy Xmas

im trying to install windows xp from an upgrade disk through bootcamp onto a macbook and need an external usb cd device to verify the installation (the upgrade cd cant be ejected). Unfortunatey i dont have one and there are no shops open anywhere.

does anyone know if and how i can configure my suse 9.3 box (Toshiba Quosmio G20) to be an external cd drive through a 6 pin firewire from the mac to 4 pin firewire on the suse (this is the only cable i have)? Im assuming the firewire has to be read through 'bios' on the mac.
